FFFWeek - The Curvy Girls' Guide on How to Wear White with Addition Elle

A lot of people say that plus size women should not wear white. This is completely untrue! As you saw from my recent post, plus size women can look completely amazing in all white. And I know some of you out there are making a face at your screen as you read this - but you'll be a convert after seeing a few tricks on how to style white outfits, I promise!

One of the key things is making sure you are creating interesting proportions - as a general rule, I like to wear something fitted on one half of my body and something a bit looser on the other half. Belting something that's loose all over can also look pretty. The peplum is a great way to achieve a structured, well-proportioned look, as it nips in at the waist and then flares out.

Texture can also play an important part in creating an amazing monochromatic white look. Lace adds a beautiful, simple, and understated detail. Added stones like the ones on the Addition Elle dress below can also amp up your look. If the garment doesn't come with some embellishment, you can also add some great jewellery to your look. Jewellery is a great tool for adding small but impactful shocks of colour to your otherwise monochromatic outfit. Grab some baubles to add flare to your ensemble!

You can also cheat a little bit by wearing white that has a print on it - I love these fitted printed capris with this broderie lace relaxed fit top.

All of these lovely pieces can be purchased at Addition Elle.

So what do you think? Would you wear all white?
